Mission/Purpose:
Prepare and serve one meal each month to the guests of St. Ben's Meal Program.

Regular Activities:
Fourth Thursday of Each Month. Volunteers are needed to prepare food and/or serve food at St. Ben's Parish in the city.

Reach out to the community by helping those in need with some of our most basic needs.

  • The food you serve provides physical nourishment.
  • The smile you give provides emotional and spiritual nourishment.

    You will have the chance to meet people from our parish and others in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

    Specific Requirements to Consider if Participating in this Ministry:

    • To Prepare Food: Use the recipe for Beef Stew or Jello Or Prepare Hard-boiled Eggs or a Dessert of your own recipe. Food can be dropped off at the Rectory, or at St. Ben's.
    • To Serve: Arrive at St. Ben's around 5:00. Plan to stay until at least 6:30. Dress comfortably and casually. You are invited to share your evening meal with the guests.
